Virginia Nursing Workforce Summit Registration

• Leadership- nurse leaders, faculty, academic administrators, workforce development professionals, HR partners, and organizational representatives in roles that guide teams, shape programs, or advance nursing education and workforce strategy.
• Trailblazer- For nurses actively practicing at the bedside, in clinical units, ambulatory care, community health, or specialty practice settings. Ideal for nurses who are delivering direct patient care or supporting clinical operations.
• Rising Star- For individuals currently enrolled in LPN, ADN, or BSN pre‑licensure nursing programs. This is reserved for student nurses who are not yet licensed or practicing as nurses and are actively completing their initial nursing education.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted online payment platform. Stripe manages the transaction and payment security.

Registration payments are directed to the VHWDA Foundation. The VHWDA Foundation uses its funding for health workforce programs around Virginia. 

Stripe typically accepts major credit/debit cards and may offer additional payment options depending on your device and settings. Available methods will display at checkout.

Yes. Payments are handled through Stripe’s secure checkout, and your card details are not stored on the Summit website.

Yes. After submitting your payment, you should receive 2 emails:

• A registration email to complete for the Summit. If you paid for multiple people, please send a list of email to recieve the registration to info@vhwda.org
• payment receipt from Stripe (or included in your confirmation email). If you don’t see it, check your spam/junk folder.

First, check your spam/junk folder and search your inbox for “Stripe” or “Virginia Nursing Workforce Summit.” If you still can’t find it, contact the Summit team at info@vhwda.org or call  (804) 592-1724

Common fixes:

• Confirm your billing address matches your card records
• Try a different browser or device
• Try another card
• Ensure your bank isn’t blocking the transaction
  If the issue persists, contact the Summit team for assistance.
   

Yes. A supervisor, organization, or colleague may pay on your behalf. Make sure the attendee information is entered correctly during registration.

If your organization plans to register multiple attendees or needs a different payment arrangement, contact the Summit team at info@vhwda.org to discuss options.

Refund and cancellation terms (including deadlines) are listed on the registration page and/or confirmation email. If you have questions about eligibility, contact the Summit team with your registration details.

Transfers may be possible depending on the registration policies and timing. Contact the Summit team with the original registrant’s name/email and the new attendee’s information.

Because registration fees support the VHWDA Foundation, some portion may be considered tax-deductible depending on what is received in return (e.g., meals/materials). We recommend consulting your tax advisor. Your receipt will help document your payment.
